Youth Mentoring Program

Our mission is to equip humanity with the spiritual, intellectual, social and economic tools to live more abundantly by proclaiming the (LOGOS) word to our local community, city, nation, and world. Our goal is to implant spiritual and physical knowledge to both saved and unsaved people. We want to help them recognize their full potential that God has placed in us all; to bring glory to Him as we live through Christ Jesus….For by grace are ye saved….Ephesians 2:8.

We believe the best way to help people to reach their full potential is to start while they are young. Our ministry has started a Youth Initiative Program. This program is geared toward young people to mentor them, provide counseling, spiritual guidance and much more. Two specific programs we are currently pushing are called The Arms of the Shepherd and The Daughters of Shepherd.

The Arms of the Shepherd is a mentoring program in which we train young boys as well as young men how to live as men. We deal with the mental, social, physical, and spiritual aspects of life. We teach them that their environment doesn’t have to hinder there future. We teach them how to overcome obstacles. We teach them that as you get older you have to put away foolish things. Through this mentoring program we do community service as well as fundraisers to teach them the value of brotherly love and working for what you want….When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I thought as a child but when I became a man. I put away childish things…..1 Corinthians 13:11.

Daughters of the Shepherd is a mentoring program in which we teach the young girls as well as the young women how to live as women. In this program we also deal with the mental, social, physical, and spiritual aspects of life. Just as with the young men, we also do community work the girls. We offer sewing classes, art classes, etc We find that it is important to instill in our young women that they don’t have to expose themselves to attract a man. We teach them moral values and self worth…. The aged women likewise that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teaches of good things; that they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands that the word of God be not blasphemed…..Titus 2:3-5.

Purpose: To deal with those living a homosexual/lesbian lifestyle and those who came out of it. To deal with addicts of all kinds. To reach out to the pimp, prostitute homeless, those in prison or who have come out of prison (State or Federal). To deal with various religious denominations. To reach all me no matter what their ethnicity is.

Counseling Ministry - Deals with problems and issues being faced
