(2) To raise the standard in the City, Community, Town
and State where God has called us to.
(3) To meet the needs of its members and to aid as much
as possible to the community in various areas of mission.
(4) To assist both it’s members and community
in producing programs that will, insure that as many as want to and can be reached become spiritually, socially, economically,
financially, mentally, intellectually stable and productive both to themselves/families and the community in which they.
(5) To partner with local businesses, that would be
willing to aid us in job training, job placement, educating people who either have lost a job, no longer can work in the field
they have experience in or transitioning from a drug or alcohol program and having difficulty finding work.
(6) To provide quality training from men and women of
integrity in every area of ministry, vocational, and social training that participants are in. And that the requirements on
each level,
Whether spiritual, social, vocational, and mental in
accordance to the Ministry and programs that is provide for their enhancement in their personal, family, and spiritual lives.
(7) It is also the vision of Shepherd Missionary Baptist
Church to enhance its community, neighborhood, town, and city so that its presence exemplifies Christ’s Leadership,
Love, Compassion, Integrity, and Peace. Our desire is Social, and Economical change for all people no matter what race, creed,
of nationality they are from.
(8) And to show through God’s word that there
is a better alternative than drugs, prostitution, alcoholism, verbal, physical, sexual, and mental abuse. The word of God
states in Paul’s letter to the church at Ephesus and the 4 chapter "if you once stole, steal no more but rather labor,
working with his/her hands that which is good that he/she may have something to give him who has a need. It is our desire
to reach mankind and show that all is not lost; there is a better to handling life’s hardships and disappointments without
resorting to violence, drugs, and abuse. Although we understand that some people will not accept help, it’s my prayer
as Pastor to take an optimistic view. I believe from personal experience that we all have a desire to be reached if approached
in a manner that doesn’t bring about judgment from the evangelizer. It’s my true experience from both spiritual
and secular view that ‘what comes from the heart shall always reach that heart’. This simply means that you must
be real in your motives, as well as intention, towards the ones you minister to. We must receive them in love and understanding
to the best of your ability. The nature of their circumstances and condition in which may presently be in, and not to assume
that choice that was made was strictly because they did not try to become better and more productive for themselves and their
families. We must impart knowledge that is valuable in all points that will save their souls and lives.
